General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the education of CPC members,from the dimension of nature and status,have clarified that the Party members' education is an intrinsic requirement of the Party's essential attributes,an important guarantee for the Party to maintain its original mission and an important way for the Party to promote self-revolution; from the dimension of content and objectives,they have clarified that the Party members' education takes the armament with innovative theories of the Party as essential,the conviction of the communists' ideals and beliefs as core and the succession of the Party's noble spirit as grand goal;from the dimension of approaches and methods,they have clarified that the Party members' education calls for clear and definite compliance with political rules from beginning to end,full play of the advantages of the Party's organizations and strength as well as wisdom drawn from the Party's history. These important expositions have given profound answers to the three basic questions of "what it is", "what it does" and "how it works" of the Party members' education,which has not only reflected the theoretical logic of the current thematic educational activities, but also has important theoretical innovation value and practical guiding significance to carrying forward the undertaking of Party members' education in the new era and on the new journey.
